Gerard L. Caissie founded his namesake business in Richibucto, NB in 1957. At the onset, the company consisted of its first store front that focused mainly on specialty plumbing & heating services. With the philosophy of “If we don’t have it, we’ll find it, if we can’t find it, we’ll make it.”, the company soon required the addition of a warehouse to accommodate local demand.
Over the years, the company evolved into a successful local general hardware store, offering a wide range of retail and special order products from muck boots, to paint, to marine parts, and more. During this time, Rheal Caissie (Gerard’s son) joined the business and accomplished a range of milestones from rebuilding after a fire in 1979, to adopting computer technology, adding a focus on service, and creating divisions for hearth stones & refrigeration.
Continuing the family legacy, Rheal’s son Jean-Denis eventually joined the company, learned the ropes, and took over the reins with a focus on modernizing the company and meeting increasing demand for the latest innovations in heating, cooling, ventilation, water treatment and related services. This shift motivated the company to close the hardware store, and properly reposition itself with an expansive new showroom featuring its new range of vital home systems and related services.

Our showroom is open daily from 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday To Friday, however we do offer an emergency service for the weekend starting friday at 5PM
Our pricing structure depends on the services & Technicians dispatched, however our base rate is 80$/h. For bigger projects, we usually start with a free estimate which accurately determines the cost of the project!
